Ultimamente molte persone mi chiedono di scrivere di questo o di quest'altro, partendo dalla moda e sfociando nell'arte e nel design. Mi fa davvero piacere che mi venga chiesto di dare il mio punto di vista :), tuttavia, se non scrivo quanto mi viene chiesto è solamente per non rendere il blog uno spazio in cui rispondere alle mail.
Credo che l'agenda giornaliera di tutti, la mia compresa, sia colma di impegni e che correre da una parte all'altra in costante ritardo per non perdere gli appuntamenti sia una costante, dalla mattina alle sera. Ma tutto questo é Milano, non immagino come vada in vere metropoli come New York. Un'ora per un caffè e qualche chiacchiera fa sempre piacere nei ritagli di tempo di queste serate invernali, quindi perché non parlare di ciò che mi chiedete vis a vis? Grazie a tutti per le 10.000 visite :)

A friend publisher warned me, a few days ago, that in the number of January of Velvet there would be an interesting article for me. I’ve just bought the magazine and I found that article.
The article says what I said in the posts Next Trend and Next Trend (part II) , that I’ve wrote just few months ago: What there’s after the period of the studs? Mcqueen’s tissues reporting symmetric fractals? Or dresses with clean and uniform lines?
Viktor & Rolf have taken literally the idea of "dress sculpture". Here is a snap on the road of the magazine
Exactly as expected in Next Trend e Next Trend (part II) : clean lines and smooth. The coat can be appreciated by examining in its entirety, as is done with a statue. In fact, is precisely a sculpture!
The body is lifted up, across all the catwalk, with a feast of classical drapery, still and eternal. Not lacking dynamic or unexpected elements, like the neck, irregular inverted, or like the large diamonds of tissue on the bottom edge.
The material has been called Pixel Fabric, a mix of felt and viscose, wonderful simulation in which the tissue becomes a piece of stone and the designer its sculptor.
